The Barns at Redcoats is a wonderful venue for a wedding. Situated in the hamlet of Redcoats Green, Hertfordshire; Redcoats dates back to the 15th century and boasts 4 acres with stunning views across the rolling Hertfordshire countryside. My wife and I liked it so much that we even got married there ourselves!
The Sam Lewis Band is one of Hertfordshire's busiest wedding and party bands performing at 50-100 weddings per year. We have worked closely with Redcoats for a few years now, performing at various different functions here and at their numerous other sites including Hermitage Road in Hitchin.

Our ALL-DAY music solution is perfect for weddings and features live music throughout the day. It means you can sit back and relax right from the point of booking us knowing all of the entertainment at Redcoats for the day is arranged.

** this can be completely bespoke. Simply send me a Spotify playlist and I will cue the music up for you.
*** this is conditional on the P.A. system being set up in advance of the ceremony. The Barns at Redcoats have an in-house radio microphone too.
**** I am happy to coordinate photographs where required, usher guests into the barn for the wedding breakfast, welcome you into the room as a married couple and introduce the speeches.

Suppliers
It's important to book the right suppliers for the job. Preferred or recommended suppliers are usually selected by the venue as their respective brands work well together. For example; A photographer that has experience of a venue will know where to go for the best light, settings and backdrops come rain or shine. A preferred band, musician or DJ (did I mention that we're all three?) will know when to arrive, where and when to set up, whether the venue has a noise limiter and who the wedding coordinator is etc.
The combination of suppliers that know each other is often overlooked yet can make a huge difference to your big day. It's just the same as any kind of team. Most wedding suppliers will also recommend others that they rate particularly highly and enjoy working with. Communication between suppliers and the venue beforehand and on the day makes a big difference too. Familiarity helps and collaboration is the key!

About Redcoats...
Capacity
The Barns at Redcoats can cater for 120 guests for a perfect civil ceremony and wedding breakfast, meeting conference or event and there's still room for a live band or musician. Plenty more people can join you and your daytime guests for the evening party.
Accommodation
The Barns at Redcoats has 15 country style bedrooms to complement the existing 12 bedrooms in The Farmhouse as well as The Cowshed bar & lounge. If you are looking for something a little different from the rest and unforgettable memories, The Barns are the perfect venue specialising in exceptional food and drink, the beautiful surrounding of the historic farmhouse and the 27 bedrooms to accommodate all of your guests.
Bespoke
The Events team will help you plan your fully bespoke wedding, conference or event. We can personally vouch for them. For weddings, just to make your day fully bespoke, extra special and as individual as you are, they guarantee wedding day exclusivity for an unforgettable day.
Corporate
They can host a range of conferencing and banqueting functions. The Barns has full audio visual facilities with high speed internet connection.
