Shortmead in Bedfordshire is one of Biggleswade’s best kept secrets and the perfect venue for your outdoors wedding or function. The elegant manor house is set in 24 acres of grounds with its origins dating from the 16th century and provides an idyllic setting for your whole day.
The Sam Lewis Wedding And Party Band is one of Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire's busiest live wedding bands performing at up to 100 weddings a year but no more to ensure the quality always remains high. Shortmead House has recently been taken over by Lee Smith & Esme Robinson who between them have over 30 years experience in the wedding industry.

Our ALL-DAY wedding music solution ensures you have music from the beginning to the end of your special day. From when your guests arrive at the venue to the last song of the night when everybody says goodbye. Just take a look at what's included below...
* a solo performance is included. An acoustic band performance is subject to an additional cost.

*** this is conditional on the P.A. system being set up in advance of the ceremony.
**** I can help coordinate photographs, usher guests into the venue for the wedding breakfast, welcome you in as a married couple and introduce the speeches.

Suppliers
It's important to book the right suppliers for the job. Recommended suppliers are usually selected by the venue as their respective brands work well together. A recommended wedding and party band should know when to arrive, where to set up and what music to play to keep guests on the dance floor all night long. All professional bands will have the right equipment for the venue along with public liability insurance and P.A.T. (portable appliance testing) certification.
