The Kings Chapel

The “I do” room, or Main Hall, has a beautifully distinctive shape with the original pulpit from 1906 and mezzanine gallery. The welcoming drinks reception room is just next door with beautiful wooden floors and vintage hanging chandeliers. It can seat 120 guests for your ceremony and Wedding breakfast, then party with up to 200 guests in the evening. Don’t worry about drinks, we have a newly refurbished private bar for your wedding guests, adjacent to the Main Hall. Our upstairs space is ideal for a “restless kids play room” or if your Wedding is a #nokids affair – a space to refresh your hair and make-up. At the rear of the Chapel is our stunning private walled garden with our upcycled horse box bar. Perfect for summer ceremonies, drinks receptions and full of photo opportunities.
The Sam Lewis Wedding & Party Band is a regular feature at weddings at The Kings Chapel in Old Amersham, Buckinghamshire having worked with them for over 7 years now. On average we perform at 10 weddings and events each year and have gotten to know the team (some of whom remain from the beginning) very well.The familiarity makes a big difference each time we are booked from arriving and knowing where and when to set up to the evening performance. Our ALL-DAY wedding and party solution means you can sit back and relax right from the point of booking us as all of the entertainment for the day is included. I'll even take on the MC responsibilities as and where required.

**** I am happy to coordinate photographs, usher guests into the barn for the wedding breakfast, welcome you int as a married couple and introduce the speeches.

Suppliers
It's important to book the right suppliers for the job. Recommended suppliers are usually selected by the venue as their respective brands work well together. A recommended wedding and party band should know when to arrive, where to set up and what music to play to keep guests on the dance floor all night long. The Sam Lewis Wedding & Party Band carry the correct sound equipment for The Kings Chapel so we're not too loud along with public liability insurance and P.A.T. (portable appliance testing) certification.
The Sam Lewis Wedding & Party Band have worked with a number of different photographers at The Kings Chapel and we're always pleased to see familiar faces. Never underestimate the power of familiar suppliers as they can really help create a relaxed atmosphere on your big day.
