The Sam Lewis Band have worked closely with Jay, Karen and the team at The Priory in Little Wymondley for 10+ years now and are always impressed by the lengths everyone goes to, to make each and every event the best it possibly can be. As a trusted supplier Sam Lewis is also responsible for vetting all live acts that perform at The Priory.
The Sam Lewis Band is one of Hertfordshire's busiest wedding and party bands performing at 50-100 weddings per year. Sam can perform live at the ceremony and reception drinks before bringing in his band for the evening AND DJing in between the live sets. Quality is assured given Sam can only be in one place at one time unlike bands using various aliases. Sam will always be the front-man for your band on your special day.

** this can be completely bespoke. Simply send me a Spotify playlist and I will cue the music up for you.
*** this is conditional on the P.A. system being set up in advance of the ceremony. The Priory have an in-house radio microphone.
**** I am happy to coordinate photographs where required, usher guests into the barn for the wedding breakfast, welcome you into the room as a married couple and introduce the speeches.

Suppliers
It's important to book the right suppliers for the job. Trusted suppliers are usually selected by the venue as their respective brands work well together. For example; A photographer that has experience of a venue will know where to go for the best light, architecture andbbackdrops come rain or shine. A preferred band, musician or DJ (did I mention that we're all three?) will know when to arrive, where and when to set up, whether the venue has a noise limiter and who the wedding coordinator is etc.
The combination of suppliers that know each other is often overlooked yet can make a huge difference to your big day. It's just the same as any kind of team. Most wedding suppliers will also recommend others that they rate particularly highly and enjoy working with. Communication between suppliers and the venue beforehand and on the day makes a big difference too. Familiarity helps and collaboration is the key!

The Priory Barn can cater for 180 evening guests for the evening party.
Accommodation
The Priory has made special arrangements for guests to stay with Needham House Hotel located in Little Wymondley, the Cromwell Hotel in Old Stevenage, Bethnal & Bec in Buntingford and Alder Barn Holiday Home in Aswell. Jay or Karen will discuss this with you when you get in touch.

The experienced team is dedicated to getting everything absolutely right every time, with a wedding coordinator on hand to ensure that bespoke details are in perfect place for you and your guests. They also host charity events, birthday parties and more.
